Job Summary:
As an Information System (I.S.) Staff at Toyota Butuan, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership’s information systems. Your qualifications include being a graduate of BS Information Technology/Computer Science or any relevant course, excellent troubleshooting skills, proficiency in hardware installation and configuration, knowledge of MS applications and Adobe Software, and experience in Networking and System Maintenance (an advantage).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to dealership staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications including MS Office, Adobe Software, and dealership-specific software.
- Provide training and support to users on software usage and best practices.
- Assist in the set-up, configuration, and maintenance of dealership network infrastructure including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and security, and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Implement and maintain data backup procedures to safeguard dealership data and ensure business continuity.
- Perform regular backups and test data data recovery procedures to mitigate the risk of data loss.
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, software licenses, and maintenance activities.
- Generate reports on IT inventory, service requests, and system performance as required.
- Enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect dealership systems and data from unauthorized access or breaches.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks.
