Job Summary:
The Purchasing Liaison at Toyota Butuan coordinates and purchases supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the dealership’s operations. This position involves both office work and fieldwork, including the delivery and collection of purchased items and documents. A driver’s license and proficiency in driving both motorcycles and 4-wheel vehicles are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the purchasing of required supplies, parts, and materials for various departments within the dealership.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing.
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Handle the pickup and delivery of purchased items, documents, and supplies using a motorcycle or a 4-wheel vehicle.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to the designated department or area.
- Manage the secure transport of goods and documents, ensuring proper handling during transport.
- Maintain records of purchased items, transactions, and delivery logs in an organized and efficient manner.
- Prepare purchase orders, requests, and other necessary documents for purchasing activities.
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify relevant departments when ordering is needed.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless purchasing and delivery operations.
- Provide updates to relevant departments on the status of pending and completed purchases.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries or orders with suppliers.
- Handle multiple tasks effectively, balancing office work, fieldwork, and communication duties.
- Manage and prioritize work tasks to ensure deadlines are met and responsibilities are completed promptly.
- Willing to work beyond regular hours, including weekends, to support purchasing operations during peak periods or urgent requirements.
