Job Summary:
The Quality Control personnel are responsible for ensuring that all vehicles serviced or prepared for release meet Toyota’s quality, safety, and operational standards. The role involves conducting detailed inspections, verifying completed repair or maintenance work, and coordinating with service teams to ensure vehicles are delivered in excellent condition. This position plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding the dealership’s commitment to high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspection and Quality Assurance
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles after service or repair work.
- Verify that all repairs, maintenance tasks, and installations are completed accurately and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Identify defects, incomplete work, or quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken before vehicle release.
- Process Compliance and Standards Monitoring
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and Toyota service quality guidelines.
- Confirm that safety checks and required documentation are properly completed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Coordination and Team Collaboration
- Work closely with technicians, service advisors, and other departments to address quality concerns.
- Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally to concerned personnel.
- Promote teamwork and cooperation in achieving organizational goals.
- Customer Satisfaction Support
- Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and fully functional before customer turnover.
- Help minimize repeat repairs by maintaining strict quality control standards.
- Contribute to delivering a positive customer service experience through reliable inspection practices.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality control reports.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve service processes and workflow efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Capable of building teamwork and communicating with teams in achieving organizational goals.
- Capable of handling pressure and maintaining a positive mindset during work.
- Must have a basic to intermediate understanding of car parts and automotive systems
- With a driver’s license
